With Just Three Epsiodes Left NBC’s Debris Is Building To An Unusual Conclusion That’s Playing Its Cards Close To Its Chest Diana Marsh, May 4, 2021May 23, 2021 Photo courtesy of SYFY Wire from episode 9 Do You Know Icarus Like fine wine and good whiskey, Debris is only getting better with time (sorry for the…rhyme. Moving along..) The most recent episodes, Do You Know Icarus and I Am Icarus, did a wonderful job of diving into George Jones’ Orbital backstory which was then used to build intricate connections throughout the episodes between the main characters who found themselves caught up in a seemingly unending loop of dimension-hopping via newfound ship debris where different versions of Bryan, Finola, George, Shelby, and Kathryn were constantly being transported to different versions of their original reality with everyone really just trying to get back home (a bit of nod to Quantum Leap I’m assuming.) I won’t spoil tonight’s show but definitely take the time to watch both episodes; a larger picture is being created here but what that will look like is a mystery. How Maddox and Ferris’ betrayals will play out doesn’t really have a lot of momentum yet but it’s obvious Anson Ash, George, and Dee Jones are going to be explosive catalysts here quite soon.
