Thriller Movie THE BAD SHEPHERD Available Feb 23 2024

In remote wilderness, a group of friends embark on a fateful hunting trip that takes a dark turn when they unintentionally take the life of a mysterious stranger carrying a bag brimming with illicit cash. As guilt and paranoia consume them, their loyalties are pushed to the brink. However, their nightmare intensifies when the bag’s mysterious owner begins a relentless pursuit, forcing the friends into a treacherous game of survival where their bonds are tested, secrets unravel, and the desperate quest for redemption takes an unforgiving toll on their once unbreakable friendships.

Director’s Statement:

As a storyteller, I was thrilled to discover a compelling thriller that stands out in its own way. “The Bad Shepherd” offers everything a movie goer could desire: mystery, crime, suspense, a captivating supernatural twist, and a profound character exploration of the human condition. It leaves one pondering, “What would I do if I were in that situation?”

“The Bad Shepherd” explores the depths people would plumb for avarice and how rapidly the boundaries of morality and friendship can bend. I admire how we intimately accompany each character through unimaginable trials, witnessing the extent to which greed can drive them. When telling this story, it was paramount to ensure that all these elements were woven into every stage of the filmmaking process – from cinematography to editing, even to the composition of the music. I take immense pride in the collaborative effort our team invested in bringing this tale to life. The actors’ stoic and serious performances forge a deep connection with the audience, while the intense photography not only captures the story’s grit but also the beauty of the landscape. Lastly, the music paints an eerie yet harmonious soundscape that conveys anxiety yet keeps the audience enthralled.

I am both proud and honored to present “The Bad Shepherd.” Thank you for watching, and I hope audiences thoroughly enjoy it.
