Syfy’s HAVEN Hurtles Towards a Cataclysmic Showdown, E1 To Deliver Final Episodes Terry Bunch, October 9, 2015 As the Supernatural Series Wraps Beginning October 8, the Last 13 Thrilling Episodes Will be Available to Download or Stream the Day Following Their Broadcast Premieres When Syfy’s long-running original supernatural series HAVEN comes to an end across 13 final episodes, beginning Thursday, October 8, key mysteries will be revealed. The series’ countdown begins with a drama-filled double-header featuring two premiere episodes: “New World Order” (airing at 10/9c) and “Power” (airing at 11/10c). And, on October 9, show co-producer, Entertainment One (eOne) will make both premiere episodes available for purchase on all leading digital platforms, with additional new episodes premiering weekly. In the action-packed second half of Season 5, the town of Haven has been cut off from the rest of the world by a mysterious fog – and hometown heroes Audrey (Emily Rose), Nathan (Lucas Bryant), Duke (Eric Balfour) and Dwight (Adam Copeland) are faced with challenges unlike any they’ve experienced before. As events in Haven sprints towards a cataclysmic showdown, tensions rise, allegiances shift and – in a harrowing closing chapter – the mystery of “Croatoan” is finally revealed. Episodes of the series will air regularly Thursdays at 10/9c through the December 17 finale, and returning guest stars include fan favorites Kris Lemche as paranormal investigator Seth Byrne, Steve Lund as the Colorado Kid, and Jay Reso (aka WWE Superstar Christian) as McHugh, one of Dwight’s childhood friends. Also joining the cast this season is William Shatner, in a recurring role as a pivotal character with the potential to forever impact the fate of Haven. Based on the novella The Colorado Kid from renowned author Stephen King, HAVEN follows former FBI agent Audrey Parker, who becomes a cop in the small town of Haven, Maine, and soon discovers the town’s many secrets, which also hold the key to unlocking the mysteries of her lost past. From leading independent studio eOne, HAVEN is co-commissioned by Shaw Media in Canada and globally via Universal Networks International (UNI). The creative team behind HAVEN includes executive producers John Morayniss (Klondike, Rogue) from eOne Television and David MacLeod (Legends of the Fall, The Ray Bradbury Theater) of Big Motion Pictures, who are joined by Lloyd Segan, Shawn Piller, Scott Shepherd (Stephen King’s The Dead Zone, Greek) of Piller/Segan/Shepherd and Matt McGuinness (Minority Report) and Gabrielle Stanton (The Flash). The series was developed by Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn (Stephen King’s The Dead Zone). HAVEN is produced by eOne and Big Motion Pictures in association with Piller/Segan/ Shepherd and airs on Syfy in the US, Showcase in Canada and internationally on UNI’s multiple Syfy channels. eOne controls the worldwide distribution rights to the one-hour series.
