Season Two Of Mythic Quest Is Comfort Food For Humor’s Soul Diana Marsh, May 11, 2021May 23, 2021 Photo courtesy of Mamasgeeky.com As we’re peering down the proverbial light at the end of the Covid 19 tunnel, it’s wonderful to have such thoughtful, funny, dark, and over-the-top comedies like Mythic Quest to remind us that it’s ok to laugh, it’s ok to feel weird about getting back to our previous lives, and it’s ok to have a love/hate issue with Brad. I mean sure he’s a dick but you gotta respect the hustle. Each episode is fairly compact, usually clocking in at under 30 minutes but with the lithe writing and the fast-paced nature of the show that’s all the time they need to build up a storyline that draws you in, create just the right connections between characters to make you feel, you know, things, and then wind the story down just enough to keep you wanting more. It’s really brilliant work. I do think all of us can relate to Grouchy Goat on some level. Just throwing it out there.
