Stop motion animation at some of its finest
With Season Two in full swing, and the glow of two Prime Time Emmy noms still fresh on their minds, Supermansion has hit the ground running with hilarious results. The original series sporting an all star cast is a wonderfully guilty pleasure that combines brilliant stop motion animation, over the top characters, and genuinely fun story lines that leave you wanting more.
The new season begins with our hopelessly inept heroes trying to win back the good will of the people of Storm City after a series of failures and blunders by the League leave the city a wreck with no criminals behind bars to show for it. To help spruce up the League Of Freedom’s image, leader and good guy with robotic arm Titanium Rex (voiced by Bryan Cranston) decides to woo back a former member of the league who has become an incredibly popular and much loved talk show host by the name of Portia Jones. Whatever shes says, the good people of Storm City believe. However, between the clashing of egos, bad marketing schemes created by Portia’s hot but dumb boyfriend, and run ins with the bad guys, it’s going to take a miracle to save the League’s reputation, and Portia just may be that light at the end of the team’s tunnel.
