Season Three Of Crackles ‘SuperMansion’ Is Another Brilliant Romp Through Love, Loss, And Penis Jokes

Another Season, another glorious round of awkward interactions, failed attempts at catching the bad guys, outlandish sex jokes, and seriously funny story lines. Crackle’s Supermansion is off and running with Season 3 in full swing, and is a brilliant follow up to its previous seasons. If you’ve never laid on eyes on this visual treat of stop motion animation meets weird, slightly perverse, yet wholly dedicated super heroes and villains, well you really need to fix that. The rest of you are in for six epic episodes of the League of Freedom VS The Injustice Club, this time the home version, that we’ve all come to know and love.

Episode One: Home Is Where The Shart Is

This season of Supermansion finds everyone living together under one roof thanks to an inglorious legal glitch created by non other than Titanium Rex (voiced by Bryan Cranston), and there’s only one person who can get the law repealed, or so Rex thinks. We also learn that Rex has no idea how the legislative process works, but that’s never stopped anyone from championing a cause in politics so why not.

The only way for The League to rid themselves of their new “severe companions” is to root through their past and track down Swine Kampf, a literal Nazi war-pig super villain who, after killing Hitler and saving the original League of Freedom from certain death, was pardoned by the US Government and who is now at the heart of Rex’s legal battle. Once Swine has been located, a whole new war breaks out between the elderly, but surprisingly spry, telekinetic bovine and our superheroes, and it takes both hero and villain working together to save the day, with minimal damage to the city, and each other.

Episode Two: Masters Of Lex

Dating is difficult enough, but when you’re a super villain, living with your dads with whom you already have a complicated relationship with (one’s a super hero, one’s a super villain) it gets even worse. Neither Dr Devizo (voiced by Chris Pine) nor Titanium Rex approve of Lex’s new boyfriend, the new vigilante in town known as Max Penalizer (voiced by SNL Mikey Day) who is renown for meading out his own brand of justice in a very particular and very brutal way that involves, well, balls. In dealing with their mutual hatred of Max, Devizo and Rex learn to put their differences aside for Lex’s sake, and deal with their own difficult relationship while maintaining order in the mansion. We also get to see Robobot become an unintentional figure head for a suicidal sex cult, but also learn that people will believe anything that makes them feel good, and that says something.

If the first two episodes are any indication of how the rest of the season runs, we’re in for a lot of fun. Trailer for the new season can be seen here
