Peacock’s MACGRUBER May Premiere December 16th 2021 But First, A Look At That Jailhouse Interview

Diana Marsh, November 23, 2021

It’s been a long, hard road but MacGruber is finally free and needs to do a lot of staring off into the sunset to show how much of a long, hard road it has been.

To bring everyone up to speed, here’s a brief synopsis of what yours and mine (mines? No, that can’t be right. Moving on.) hero has been up to, along with an old interview MacGruber did from prison all those years ago

“After rotting in prison for over a decade, America’s ultimate hero and uber patriot MacGruber is finally released. His mission: to take down a mysterious villain from his past—Brigadier Commander Enos Queeth. With the entire world in the crosshairs, MacGruber must reassemble his old team, Vicki St. Elmo and Dixon Piper, in order to defeat the forces of evil.”

MacGruber has an all-star cast featuring Will Forte (MacGruber), Kristen Wiig (Vicki St. Elmo), Ryan Phillippe (Dixon Piper), Sam Elliott (Perry), Laurence Fishburne (General Barrett Fasoose), Billy Zane (Brigadier Commander Enos Queeth), Joseph Lee Anderson (Major Harold Kernst), Timothy V. Murphy (Constantine Bach)  and is based on the iconic SNL parody sketch and cult-favorite feature film MacGruber (2010), and picks up where the film left off.
