PEACOCK’S MACGRUBER HOSTS EPIC PREMIERE SCREENING & AFTER-PARTY FOR THE COMEDY COMMUNITY
Guests Included Series Stars Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Laurence Fishburne, Billy Zane, As Well As Notable Attendees including Ron Perlman, Bob Saget, Paul Scheer, Fred Armisen and More
Los Angeles, CA – Tonight, December 8, 2021, PEACOCK hosted an epic premiere screening at the California Science Center where the comedy community gathered for the launch of the highly anticipated original series MACGRUBER. The screening was followed by an after-party held at an outdoor armory from the 1900s at the Wallis Annenberg Building, located in Exposition Park.
Greeted by a towering fire display, guests at the event included the MACGRUBER cast and producers: stars Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Laurence Fishburne, Billy Zane, and producers/directors/EP’s Jorma Taccone and John Solomon.
The event included MacGruber-themed military tankers, fire displays, in-world-themed easter eggs including headstones of characters MacGruber wronged in the past, MacGruber-themed cocktails, flame-torched sandwich stations, military tags activations, VOG from Ryan Phillippe and more.
Additional guests included Ron Perlman, Fred Armisen, Langston Kerman (Peacock’s Bust Down), Weird Al, Bob Saget, Lauren Ash, Anders Holm, Jesse Leigh (Peacock’s Rutherford Falls), Tim Robinson, Paul Scheer, Blake Anderson and executives:

The eight-episode series, which drops on Thursday, December 16, is based on the iconic SNL parody sketch and cult-favorite 2010 film which starred Will Forte, Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillippe.
Health and safety protocols included all guests showing proof of vaccination as well as on-site testing.
