Netflix Announces New Series with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, Creators Of Robot Chicken Terry Bunch, October 3, 2015 Netflix will premiere the stop-animation, action comedy, Buddy Thunderstruck, created by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios – the masterminds behind Adult Swim’s top rated show, Robot Chicken. Buddy Thunderstruck, a Netflix series that will appeal to the teen and tween generation, will follow the adventures of a semi-truck racing dog named buddy and his albino ferret mechanic. It all goes down in race-obsessed grease pit, a place chock full of larger-than-life characters and nitro-burning, gear-slamming, good times. Buddy Thunderstruck will premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix in 2017 with a 12 episode season. Co-founders of Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, Matt Senreich, Seth Green, Eric Towner, and John “Harv” Harvantine IV have had a ton of success in the past few months – recently winning an Emmy in Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation for their show “Robot Chicken,” the longest running stop motion animation show in TV history. They also unveiled the trailer for the upcoming animated series “SuperMansion” at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
