I’d also like to point out that being assimilated means that sure, you hear voices and you’re not exactly in control of the original you, but holy cow you’re wardrobe choices become the stuff fashion legends are made of. When you can pair the beauty of an evening gown with the functionality of real-world boots it’s a win for everyone. I’m kidding, Agnes is in crisis which means the fate of the galaxy is too. In episode 7, Monsters, Jean-Luc Picard becomes finds himself stuck in his own mind battling the secrets of his past which include monsters of the labyrinth both perceived and real while the Watcher injects herself into Picard’s internal reality to help him and his past self escape. Agnes is nearly fully assimilated with the Borg Queen and needs something more to fill her own emotional/physical emptiness which for this hybrid means car batteries and one night stands with a stranger (although the outcome isn’t sustainable for said stranger, ehem) the aftermath leads Raffi and Seven to a pivotal conflict with Jurati that will probably lead to someone visiting a chiropractor very soon. It’s an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you reliving what you saw throughout your day maybe even your week.
