Metal Life interview with Radha Mitchell, star of horror movie “The Darkness”

Veteran actor Radha Rani Amber Indigo Ananda Mitchell has quite an impressive resume that includes roles in Pitch Black, Finding Neverland, Silent Hill, and more. She is now co-starring with Lucy Fry and Kevin Bacon in The Darkness, Greg McLean’s supernatural horror film that pits a family falling apart from dysfunctionality against the forces of evil. Radha stars as Bronny Taylor, a wife and mother struggling to keep the family unit together while demons awakened from an accident during a family vacation invade their home and destroy their lives. We talked about what it was like to work with both Greg and Kevin, and how it felt to have a psychic on the set during the filming because that’s what you do when your film is about spirits (apparently.)

THE DARKNESS stars Kevin Bacon, Radha Mitchell, David Mazouz, Lucy Fry, Matt Walsh and Jennifer Morrison. Directed by Greg McLean and written by McLean, Shayne Armstrong and S.P. Krause, the film was produced by Jason Blum, Bianca Martino and Matt Kaplan.
