See who is talking about Decade That Rocked:

Mark “WEISSGUY” Weiss is a world-renowned photographer who became synonymous with the 1980s, an era of musical excess characterized by spandex, makeup, big hair, and guitar-driven rock & roll. His photography documented the biggest bands of the time, including legends such as Van Halen, Ozzy Osbourne, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, Kiss, and many others who defined the era with their sound and image.

During the 1980s, Mark’s photographs reached millions of people, gracing the pages of countless magazines worldwide and appearing on the covers of iconic albums such as Bon Jovi’s Slippery When Wet, and Twisted Sister’s Stay Hungry. His exceptional work led to him being recognized as one of the top rock photographers of the era in a Creem magazine readers poll.

Mark had a unique experience, traveling on tour buses alongside rising stars, witnessing their journey to sold-out arenas and stadiums. He lived and breathed the rock & roll lifestyle, gaining unparalleled access to the inner workings of the music scene. Through his camera lens, he captured the essence of the era, and now he shares some of his incredible stories and wild experiences in his book, The Decade That Rocked.

The Decade That Rocked serves as both a memoir and a portfolio, featuring onstage and backstage moments as well as previously unseen images from historic concerts, tours, and multiplatinum album covers. Mark’s photography helped redefine how rock and metal music are viewed, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.

With rave reviews, the book continues to be a favorite among music enthusiasts, standing at the top of heavy metal book charts with over 1400 five-star reviews. It is a testament to Mark “WEISSGUY” Weiss’s talent and dedication, solidifying his place as a star in his own right within the world of rock photography.
