With the emergence of Digressions Part 1, we’re finally starting to have some timeline gaps filled in and a few questions answered regarding the explosive season 2 finale, such as what happens after Kelly turns Ed down, what older Kelly remembers from younger Kelly’s timeline hop, and we get a better understanding of how and why Talla was brought on as the new Chief Security Officer. New characters are introduced, new backstories emerge, and new opportunities for discussions about where this could go flourish in Part 1 which makes it a satisfying read to say the least.
The whole series is a fantastic way to transition into season 3 but the storyline and artwork in Digressions stand apart from its predecessors for its clean, straightforward writing and beautiful illustrations.
