Interview: Robert Picardo, Star Trek Voyager Emergency Medical Hologram Terry Bunch, July 17, 2020 Star Trek legend Robert Picardo who from 1995 to 2001 played the role of ‘Emergency Medical Hologram'(EMH) in the television series “Star Trek: Voyager,” and has released a song and music video called “Spent My Life as an Actor” that spoofs Picardo as the second favorite A.I. character in the Star Trek franchise (after “Star Trek: The Next Generation’s” ‘Data,’ a role that was played by Brent Spiner). The Director’s Cut version is below: Robert Picardo is known as The Doctor on Star Trek: Voyager; the Cowboy in Innerspace, Coach Cutlip on The Wonder Years (where he received an Emmy nomination); Ben Wheeler in Wagons East; and as Richard Woolsey in the Stargate television franchise. He also portrays the voice and face of the robotic Johnny Cab in Total Recall and is a member of the Board of Directors of The Planetary Society. According to Picardo, “A few weeks ago, my friend and colleague Brent Spiner tweeted a hilarious musical spoof of himself that inspired me to do something in my characteristically more sophisticated manner, as an homage. My good friend James Marlowe (The Marlowe-Pugnetti Company) directed a crack mini-crew. Legendary event planner and TV personality Edward Perotti does a great cameo.” Metal Life interviewed Robert Picardo this past week: For more information about Robert Picardo, visit: http://robertpicardo.com/ Share this:FacebookTwitterTumblrPinterestRedditLinkedInEmail Related Interviews News InterviewRichard PicardoStar Trek
