Ozzy Osbourne recently joined Audacy for an interview to talk about his latest album Patient Number 9, and on the ‘uplifting experience’ of singing alongside Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and the late Taylor Hawkins.
[3:47] — On working with Taylor Hawkins. “Taylor goes, ‘you know Dave Grohl?’ I go, ‘yeah I love Dave!’ [Taylor goes] ‘He’s my boss!’ and I go, ‘yeah, great,’ and he goes, ‘but he’s my f****ng boss!’ My f****ng heart goes out to him.”
[4:46] — “It was a very uplifting experience for me, Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck on an Ozzy Osbourne album. C’mon man!”
[8:53] — “Zakk [Wylde], he plays like a motherf*****, but he can’t be serious with his life. I like Zakk’s sense of humor, to a point. When it’s 4 o’clock in the morning and I’m in sleeping and he gets in bed with his f****ng army boots…I love Zakk.”
