Genndy Tartakovky’s Primal Score Releases July 22 2023

Terry Bunch, July 21, 2023

Genndy Tartakovky’s Primal Score Releases July 22, 2023

Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal is a stunning animated achievement, telling the poignant and often brutal tale of a Neanderthal and his dinosaur companion. Spear and Fang’s journey across a deadly primordial world is told not through words, but action, and its incredible score lends a powerful voice to the narrative. WaterTower Music is excited to announce the July 22 digital release of Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal: Season 2 (Original Television Soundtrack) featuring music from Tyler Bates and Joanne Higginbottom. In addition to streaming the music from Tartakovsky’s stunning animated series, fans can also pre-order the soundtracks on vinyl starting July 22 on iam8bit.com.

iam8bit’s Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal 2xLP Vinyl Soundtrack ($42.99) includes 41 tracks from Tyler Bates and Joanne Higginbottom’s stunning compositions, which run the emotional gamut from loss, renewal, betrayal, and, of course, bloody and brutal vengeance. The two LPs in the soundtrack are split between Season 1 and Season 2, stamped on black vinyl. The albums slip into a premium gatefold jacket with bold original art from acclaimed creator Tartakovsky that showcases the series’ main characters Spear and Fang.

The Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal 2xLP Vinyl Soundtrack is now available for pre-order at iam8bit.com and is expected to ship Q4 2023.
