Death Angel and Ale Industries to release IPA Terry Bunch, October 29, 2018April 5, 2019 Death Angel and Ale Industries to release IPA Ale Industries in Oakland, CA have teamed up with Bay Area heavy metal band Death Angel to create Caster of Shame IPA. The beer will be released at the brewery on November 24. Using all 2-row malt with some dextrin malt for that smooth mouthfeel, this beer is balanced by a medium amount of bittering hop additions while finishing strong with Eureka! hops for exceptional flavor and aroma. Thirst quenching notes of resin and dark fruit along with aromas of grapefruit rind and tangerine really make this beer a crusher. Finishing at 6.7% only seemed fitting for this devilishly delicious IPA. Caster of Shame IPA pre-orders are available for $19.99 (4pk 16oz cans) for pickup on November 24 at the taproom. General admission is from 2pm until 5pm. There is also a meet and greet with Death Angel option for $49.99 from 1pm to 2pm. The meet and greet package includes a Meet & Greet with Death Angel on November 24, 2018 from 1pm-2pm, a 4-pack of Caster of Shame IPA, a pint in the Taproom, and a limited-edition T-shirt celebrating the collaboration. Please note your size when purchasing. Death Angel commented: “We’re glad to be a part of their already truly magnificent, and quality beer selection.” Ale Industries 3096 E. 10th Street Oakland, CA 94601 https://www.aleindustries.com/ About Death Angel: Among the youngest bands ever to storm the metal genre, Death Angel has come to be known as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the thriving Bay Area Thrash Metal Scene in the early 1980s. An era when one could catch Cliff Burton (Metallica) at the front of the stage at Ruthie’s Inn banging his head to Death Angel’s inventive style, and speedy, complex arrangements. https://www.deathangel.us/ About Ale Industries: In 2009 Ale Industries set out with a rebellious spirit, an environmentally-conscious endeavor striving to spread the blissful experience of a craft. Ale Industries unapologetically refuse to let their beers be categorized into styles, types, or profiles because they believe it relegates their vision of craft beer from a verb to a noun, from a spirit to a product. Ale Industries pioneer brewing technologies to save energy and reduce waste because they understand that investing in the environment will nurture the communities they care about, allowing them to flourish and grow. Oakland, California is their home, where they aim to foster connections with their neighbors and friends. Ale Industries is not just in the business of “producing craft beer.” Ale Industries is for the preservation of craft beer and its founding principals: challenging both your and their notion of what beer is, can, or should be.
