Composers of X-MEN ’97, STAR WARS, ARCANE And More Descend On San Diego

“The Character of Music: The Art of Scoring for Animation,” this panel is set to captivate audiences at San Diego Comic-Con 2024. Organized by BMI® and White Bear PR, this panel brings together a stellar lineup of composers who have breathed life into some of the most beloved animated series and films.

The discussion will feature an impressive roster of BMI composers, including:

– Deana Kiner, Kevin Kiner, and Sean Kiner: Renowned for their work on the “Star Wars” animated universe, including “The Clone Wars,” “The Bad Batch,” and “Rebels.”
– Sherri Chung: Celebrated for her compositions in “Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai” and “Based On A True Story.”
– Joy Ngiaw: Known for her enchanting scores in “Blush” and “Barbie Mysteries.”
– The Newton Brothers: Acclaimed for their work on “X-MEN ’97.”
– Alex Seaver aka MAKO: The talented songwriter behind the music of “Arcane: League of Legends.”

The panel will be moderated by Chandler Poling from White Bear PR and introduced by Louie Stephens, BMI’s Director of Film, TV & Visual Media.
