A new beast is about to emerge from the cavernous depths of the brutal death metal abyss. Formed by experienced practitioners in the art of sonic savagery, who, having served time in the death squads of Horrific Demise, Sarcophagy, Architectural Genocide, Desecrate The Faith and many more, have united in pursuit of the ultimate expression of lawless aggression and sickening heaviness. Castrated have arrived and are ready to tear you limb from limb with the uncontrollable barbarism of Surgical Vicissitude!

This five track EP is a skull-crushing, organ-rupturing bombardment from start to finish, that will either have you delighting in its wanton depravity or hiding under the bed in tears, praying not be found. The riffs twist and flail in complex dances of ritual blood-letting on the vast tectonic plates of bass, while a breathtaking display of drumming dexterity is unleashed with murderous intent. Above the maelstrom of intricate mayhem a voice of absolute madness roars out its stream of perverse invective – a litany of torments to be inflicted, a thousand ways to die each more gut-wrenching than the last. The sheer force with which these songs are delivered is as shocking as the contorted imaginings that lurk within the guttural vocal exhortations.

With the mixing and mastering handled by Tony Tipton, the man whose plague-ridden touch has given a suppurating sheen to the works of Between The Killings, Kraanium and many more and artwork spewed from the diseased imagination of the notorious Rudi ‘Gorgingsuicide’ Yanto (Devangelic, Flesh Hoarder etc), every detail of Surgical Vicissitude has been meticulously daubed in gore.
