Monster Energy and Idol Roc Entertainment are proud to announce that renowned comedian Andrew Dice Clay will be headlining the Comedy leg of the 2016 Monster Energy Outbreak Tour. The tour will kick off Saturday, May 7 in San Francisco, CA at the Warfield Theatre and wrap up Friday, May 20 in Montclair, NJ at the Wellmont Theatre. “Hickory, dickory dock… Drank a Monster because the Dice Outbreak Tour is gonna rock!” said Dice of the upcoming tour.

“We are honored to have the legendary Andrew Dice Clay on the Monster Energy Outbreak Comedy Tour,” says tour co-creator Steve Glazer. “The buzz and momentum are introducing Andrew Dice Clay to a whole new generation of fans. Dice has a special edge that is synergistic with the Monster Energy brand and there is no better fit than the iconic personality of Dice to power this exciting tour.”

Andrew Dice Clay is making a massive resurgence in pop culture at the moment with his highly anticipated new TV series titled “DICE” set to premiere Sunday, April 10 on Showtime. Dice recently wrapped a critically-acclaimed performance on HBO‘s new show “Vinyl” which left critics and fans praising his resurgence. Recently, DICE was critically lauded for his hilarious performance as himself alongside Johnny Drama which made a lasting impact on the final season of the hit show “Entourage.”

Andrew Dice Clay has notoriously been regarded as one of the most unpredictable stand-up comics of all time. Dice initially rose to fame in 1988 when his seven-minute set at the Rodney Dangerfield special “Nothing Goes Right” subsequently landed him a one-hour HBO special “The Diceman Cometh.” A starring role followed in film The Adventures of Ford Fairlane in 1990. That same year, Dice became the first comic to ever sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row. No stranger to controversy, Dice was also the first person to ever be banned for life from MTV in 1989.

Collectively between 1989 and 2012, Dice has released 10 DVDs and CD’s. Two of these DVDs (“Dice Rules” [1991], “No Apologies” [1993]) became instant best-sellers. His debut album Dice in 1989 was accompanied by a parental advisory label that simply read “Warning This Album is Offensive” and his following CDs, The Day The Laughter Died (1990) and Down, Ass Up (2000), have Gold and Platinum certifications.

In TV and film, Dice became the first celebrity to be kicked off of the show “Celebrity Apprentice.” In 2012, he released the Showtime stand-up comedy special “Indestructible” and one year later he starred in the critically-acclaimed Woody Allen film Blue Jasmine. In 2014, Simon & Schuster published Dice’s autobiography The Filthy Truth.  In 2015, Dice hosted the Showtime comedy special “The Blue Show.”
