Amazon Original Series The Boys Presents: Diabolical Is A Deviously Fun Take On The Boys Comics With A Twist Diana Marsh, March 5, 2022 Ok, mistakes were made, but they were bad people so it evens out. Photos courtesy of The Boys Presents: Diabolical IMDb From babies with laser eyes to poop best friends and superheroes murdering superheroes, The Boys Presents: Diabolical has your need for gory violence, weird anime, and wicked cool celebrity voice-overs covered. Pulled from the pages of The Boys comic series, the animated hit show has eight episodes written in eight different styles with eight separate storylines that only briefly crossover into each other’s episode space when biotech company Vought or Homelander is involved. Other than that, it’s just controlled chaos. There just might be a few lessons of not buying into the deadly hype of social media. As far as the roster of celebrity voice-overs go there’s Seth Rogen, Christian Slater, John DiMaggio, Aisha Tyler, Awkwafina, Elisabeth Shue, Giancarlo Esposito, and more, voicing some bizarre and unexpected characters. The animation styles range from an old-school wacky Warner Brothers layout to soft anime in blue and pink hues to bleakly dark with hard lines and rounded out with disturbingly violent cutaways. It’s kinda like a buffet of animated brutality with one dish that involves feces. If you’re a fan of the comics and Amazon Prime’s The Boys series then I’m sure you’ll love Diabolical which can conveniently be streamed right here.
