Heavy metal powerhouse Against Evil has dropped their latest single, Lights Out. This track is the second single from their highly anticipated forthcoming album, Give ‘Em Hell, which is set for worldwide release on July 12, 2024.
The band has also released an exciting lyric video for Lights Out, now viewable on YouTube. The video features footage of the band performing in a gritty warehouse setting, perfectly complementing the track’s classic rock and roll vibe.
Against Evil describes Lights Out as a low/mid-tempo song that hits hard with a barrage of riffs and thunderous bass. “It’s got a catchy chorus section that’s perfect for the audience to sing along during live shows and a bridge that bleeds 80’s metal. Overall, a really heavy song that’s super fun to play!” says the band.
Give ‘Em Hell, the band’s upcoming album, promises to shake the very foundations of heavy metal with nine blistering tracks. Produced, written, and recorded entirely by the band, the album is a true labour of love, showcasing their evolution while staying true to their roots. The album features artwork by acclaimed artist Andrej (All Things Rotten) and has been mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni (Domination Studio), ensuring an audio assault like never before.
