NAMM: KRK Systems Presents Studio Monitors At 2015 NAMM Show
KRK Systems, a Gibson Brand, one of the world’s most respected manufacturers of studio reference monitors, is presenting its ROKIT Generation 3 Studio Monitor Series (ROKIT G3) at the 2015 NAMM Show (Gibson Meeting Room 300B, Level 3). Available with five-inch, six-inch, or eight-inch drivers, this line of two-way active monitors features multiple innovations which elevate KRK’s already legendary performance and further refine the company’s design philosophy. In the company’s state-of-the-art design facility, KRK Systems engineers create products that deliver a natural and balanced spectral response with low distortion and superior imaging.
Top producers, artists and engineers around the globe trust KRK monitors and crafted many #1 radio, EDM club or chart-hits. The ROKIT G3s are continuing this tradition. Featuring a lightweight yellow composite woofer ensuring dynamic impulse response, the ROKIT G3s offer professional performance, defined and tight low end, clear midrange and accurate top end. Many monitor manufacturers compromise the midrange frequencies to hype the bass, but the KRK ROKIT G3s’ unique tuning process treats the woofer, cabinet, and port as a single, integrated whole that provides extreme vocal clarity with extended bass response.
Furthermore, the bi-amplification system has also been optimized to maximize headroom with very low distortion. Even at higher SPLs, KRK monitors are engineered to deliver clean, accurate sound at any level; the high frequencies are crisp and transparent, which complements the detailed midrange. The upgraded one-inch soft-dome tweeter provides response up to 35 kHz, while KRK’s optimized, proprietary waveguide technology delivers superior stereo imaging with a wider “sweet spot.”
