Mouth of the South Streams “Transparency” (Out Today)

Texas metal outfit Mouth of the South are proud to announce today the release of Transparency. The record is available today via streaming exclusively at Absolutepunk.net and has dropped into the iTunes metal charts at #21. The self-described “groovy metalcore with some ambient undertones” act has embraced the DIY mantra while simultaneously and effortlessly making their mark in the heavy music world, through thrashing and powerful offerings such as their new record which features guest vocals from Fit for a King’s Ryan Kirby and Harp & Lyre’s Tyler Carder. The band’s music video for their first single, “Uprooted”, from Transparency, debuted last week to an onslaught of views and positivity. The five piece take their job very seriously, ensuring their fans that their pedestal in the metalcore scene is not taken lightly.

“Music has always been a huge part in all of our lives, we’ve been doing band stuff since we were young and it’s just always made the most sense to all of us. We believe there is power in music and we use it to get our message across.” –Vocalist Josiah Lyle
