Metal Life interview with Ring of Honor Wrestling star Frankie Kazarian, “The Heavy Metal Rebel”
We invited a guest interviewer to handle this interview for us. He is former MTV VJ Iann Robinson who some of you (who are old enough) will remember famously called out the music industry while he was on air and caused quite a stir. In our opinion, Iann said what needed to be said and we will leave that as is. Iann is also co-host of the wrestling podcast Knife Edge Chop.
Iann spoke with Ring of Honor Wrestling star Frankie Kazarian. Frankie is one-half of the World Tag Team Champions of the World, “The Addiction.” He is known by the moniker “The Heavy Metal Rebel” so it only seemed fitting that Metal Life chat with Frankie.
A 15-year pro of the squared circle, Frankie Kazarian is a well-traveled veteran who has made his mark in Ring of Honor as one half of The Addiction with “The General” Christopher Daniels. Kaz, as he goes by, is a technical wizard in the ring who strongly complements Daniels’ aerial prowess.
The Addiction are master manipulators who sucked in the Ring of Honor fans and superstars by releasing propaganda under the pseudonym “The Knights of the Rising Dawn”. Using the distraction of the KRD, Kazarian and Daniels captured the ROH World Tag Team Championships.
The enigmatic team held the championships until losing them to The Kingdom at All Star Extravaganza VII. The duo were not pinned and have started yet another campaign of conspiracy, stating they were not pinned and should rightfully be champions! Being loud and bombastic is nothing new for Kazarian and Daniels.
Whether it’s singles or tag teams, Frankie Kazarian is not one you take lightly. He can mix it up standing, take it to the mat or even take flight en route to victory. With Christopher Daniels by his side, Kaz will without a doubt be a force in Ring of Honor for a very long time.
