MARTY FRIEDMAN unveils live NAMM footage of new track

“Inferno” — the highly anticipated new studio album from legendary guitarist MARTY FRIEDMAN, featuring his self-proclaimed heaviest and most intense playing and writing to date will be released on May 27 via Prosthetic Records.FRIEDMANwas recently featured at the annual NAMM trade show convention in Anaheim, Calif., where in addition to showcasing his new signature series Paul Reed Smith guitar, he performed a short set at the Roland/Boss stage. “Inferno” marks FRIEDMAN‘s first album to be released simultaneously worldwide since moving to Japan over 10 years ago. The album features collaborations with a number of notable artists, including Rodrigo y Gabriela, Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom), Danko Jones, Dave Davidson (Revocation) and Jørgen Munkeby (Shining), in addition to FRIEDMAN‘s first songwriting collaboration with Jason Becker since their time in Cacophony.
