Here is some more information about Mending Kids:
Mending Kids provides life-changing surgeries to children in developing countries who would otherwise go untreated due to lack of medical and financial resources. Since 2006, thousands of children from 54 countries, including the United States, have received much needed surgical care. Some of the surgeries correct congenital heart defects, orthopedic abnormalities, burn reconstruction, severe scoliosis, cranial facial deformities and many more life endangering conditions. By deploying world-renowned surgical teams, who are creating sustainable training programs in the many countries we serve, Mending Kids gives children the care they need, no matter where they live.
