GODSMACK private listening session for ‘1000 HP’

Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum hard rock giants GODSMACK held a very special private listening session for their forthcoming sixth full-length album, 1000hp [Republic Records], at Quad Studios in Times Square Tuesday night.

This was the very first time press, radio, and tastemakers got the chance to hear new tracks prior to the record’sAugust 5 release date. The evening also kicked off with a playback of the band’s latest single “1000hp”, which just hit #1 on iTunes Top Rock Songs chart.

Introduced by label co-founder and chief executive Avery Lipman, frontman Sully Erna engaged the audience with stories about each song, candidly opening up the engine fueling 1000hp.

1000hp is the next chapter of GODSMACK, and it’s promising to be the biggest and baddest yet.
