CROBOT has partnered with Double Barley Brewery to create their own official beer, Crobot SupernaturAle. On October 29, the group will celebrate the official release of Crobot SupernaturAle at their show in Raleigh, NC at The Maywood. The group will tap kegs of their new brew and share it with fans at the show. Guitarist CHRIS BISHOP created the original artwork for Crobot SupernaturAle beer label (see below). Double Barley Brewery is a family owned craft beer brewery, operating out of Smithfield, NC.
CROBOT describe the making of SupernaturAle and it’s unique flavor, “The dirty-faced brethren are teaming up with Double Barley Brewing to bring you a strange brew like no other. Straight from the Necromancer’s cauldron and filtered through a wizard’s beard, SupernaturAle is a brew like you’ve never had before. Weighing in at 11.2% ABC, this heavy hitting Imperial double brown-ale is infused with orange blossom honey and currant-infused hops but don’t be fooled it’s sweetness. This grog will add a few inches to your beard.”

CROBOT–whom Revolver praised as “…weaving together the deep grooves of stoner rock with grunge, blues and metal influences” (5/14)–has crafted an album of endless rock hooks on SOMETHING SUPERNATURAL. To perfect their blend of funk, blues, metal and rock and roll, the band worked with the producer Machine (Clutch, Lamb of God, Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes) at his Machine Shop studios in Austin. The same team worked on CROBOT’s self-titled spring 2014 EP (LISTEN HERE).
First single and good-time anthem “Nowhere To Hide” cracked the Top 20 at radio, peaking at #15 with major market support including SiriusXM Octane, WIIL Chicago, WRIF Detroit, KISW Seattle, KXXR Minneapolis, WIYY Baltimore, WJRR Orlando and WFTK Cincinnati, among others. Watch the video for “Nowhere To Hide” (HERE).
CROBOT—BRANDON YEAGLEY (lead vocals, harmonica), CHRIS BISHOP (guitar, vocals), JAKE FIGUEROA (bass), PAUL FIGUEROA (drums)–spent the past few years honing their live show and garnering a devoted following from their bombastic U.S. performances at festivals and club shows. After more high-profile tours with Clutch, The Sword, Truckfighters, Kyng and Kill Devil Hill, 2014 and 2015 promise to be the biggest for CROBOT yet, with a Top 20 song at radio, a new album full of hooks and intelligent songwriting, intense live performances and their unique brand of humor.
