ACCEPT New Song ‘Final Journey’ Premieres


NPR’s All Songs Considered has premiered the new track & lyric video “Final Journey” from pioneering German heavy metal band ACCEPT’s soon-to-be-released album Blind Rage, due out in North America on August 19th.


‘Final Journey’ is certainly not about ACCEPT, but about all of us,” stated lead singer Mark Tornillo.  “Eventually, we all take that final journey and when we do, we will most surely travel alone. ‘Where to?’ is the question!”

Next month, ACCEPT will play four exclusive U.S. shows before heading overseas to launch their worldwide tour.  Special guests METAL CHURCH and RAVEN will participate in the September 12th show at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California.

ACCEPT’s official music video for “Stampede” was directed by Greg Aronowitz (Batman & Robin, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, The Lost World: Jurassic Park).  It was filmed on location in April in the high desert of California at Devil’s Punchbowl – a tilted sandstone formation with other-worldly geology – and features the band unleashing blistering heavy metal from the mountain tops against a wide-spanning horizon and an absolutely amazing natural backdrop.
